The Tournament will be held on June 24 to 25, 2022 with the support of the Moscow City Department of Sports at one of the most modern sport venues of Moscow - the Irina Viner-Usmanova’s Gymnastics Palace.  This significant event in the world of power martial arts will bring together the best fighters from different continents in Moscow and will become a bright sports show for spectators and fans.

The results of the annual independent professional award MarSpo Awards 2022 have been summed up. This year 250 applications were submitted by sports clubs, leagues, federations, brands and agencies. Following the results of the open defense of projects and the jury voting the projects of the Moscow City Department of Sports received awards in two nominations. 

June 17 to 19, 2022 the 1st Open International Cup of Moscow GTO Games 2022 will be held in Moscow with the support of the Moscow City Department of Sports. For the first time the GTO Games will be held this summer at the «Salyut Heraklion» stadium in the open air. 400 people who will be the first to register on the project’s website will be able to participate.

June 7 to 13 the Luzhniki Northern Sports Center will host the Athletics Week – a series of athletics competitions organized by the Moscow City Department of Sports together with the All-Russian Athletics Federation. The Event will be attended by representatives of the Russian National team as well as athletes from more than 45 regions of our country. The Tournament will be opened by the legendary competition «Memorial of the Znamensky Brothers».

On May 28, 2022 Muscovites will again have a unique opportunity to practice sports in the open air under the guidance of professional coaches. The project of the Moscow City Department of Sports and the centers of public services «My documents» Sports Weekends within the frame of the new season launches offline trainings in 19 parks of the Capital and the House of Culture «GES-2». 

June 3 to 5 with the support of the Moscow City Department of Sports a major international rowing competition will take place at MOSCOW Rowing Channel for the sixty-first time. This year more than a thousand athletes will participate in the Grand Moscow Regatta.

Practicing physical education and sports at VDNH is a new project of the Moscow City Department of Sports, which is aimed to develop mass sports in our Capital and popularize a healthy lifestyle in general.

On May 21, 2022 as part of the traditional «Museum Night» campaign the Moscow City Department of Sports will offer art lovers something completely new. Within a special project «Sport and Art» free interactive excursions and night trainings in museums and stadiums are awaiting Muscovites and guests of our Сapital.

On April 2 the online part of the new season of the «Sports Weekend» project starts. The project was created on the initiative of the Moscow City Department of Sports in cooperation with the Centers of Public Services «My Documents». Its goal is to make physical education and sports as accessible and comfortable as possible for all Muscovites. In the new season participants will be able to go in for morning exercises, meditations, workouts for all muscle groups, online marathons and many other interesting activities.

An ice show with participation of the best Russian figure skaters will be held at the MEGASPORT Sports Palace. Kamila Valieva, Alina Zagitova, Evgenia Medvedeva, Anna Shcherbakova, Alexandra Trusova, Evgenia Tarasova, Vladimir Morozov, Anastasia Mishina, Alexander Gallyamov and other Russian stars of one of the most beautiful and spectacular winter sports will take to the ice. The event will be held with the support of the Moscow City Department of Sports.

The Festival «In love with Figure Skating» with participation of the best Russian figure skaters will be held at MEGASPORT Sports Palace. Anna Shcherbakova, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Victoria Sinitsyna and Nikita Katsalapov, Alexey Yagudin and other stars of one of the most beautiful and spectacular winter sports will take to the ice. The performance will be organized with the support of the Moscow City Department of Sports.

On February 14 an Internet service of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex «Ready for Labour and Defense» (GTO) has been launched for residents of Moscow.
