A Winter Day of Moscow Sport in Luzhniki

A big event for everyone who is actively starting the year of 2023 will take place on February 4 – on the territory of the Southern Sports Center of the Luzhniki Sports Complex: from the very morning residents and guests of our Capital will be able to try themselves in new kinds of sport or to demonstrate the existing skills, to participate in a mass race and to have a great time with their families. The project is organized with the support of the Department of Sports of the City of Moscow.

Participants of "A Winter Day of Moscow Sports in Luzhniki" will be able to admire the performances of famous athletes or to adopt their technique at master classes in hockey and curling, as well as to learn how to perform basic elements of figure skating under the guidance of top figure skaters. At the rink the audience is expected to see: competitions between the strongest representatives of speed skating, an interactive entertainment show "Sing, Dance, Moscow Sport", a tournament between bandy teams and free skating sessions. Those who will decide to take part in the race along the embankment of the Olympic Complex for a distance of 5 km will be awarded with commemorative medals and hot tea. The "Race of Stars" will take place on the ski and biathlon track in Luzhniki. In the evening everyone will be warmed by driving performances of music DJs on the main stage.

One more great news for young athletes and their parents: a presentation of winter sports Academies will be held at the parking lot next to the aqua complex, which will house the stands of leading Moscow sports institutions. Their representatives will talk about sport trends, share the achievements of their graduates and help to understand the rules of applications.
